SEEDVAULT
I was a Managing Editor and Layout Designer of SEEDVAULT from 2022-2024. SEEDVAULT is a student run publication produced by the MIT Media Lab's Student Committee (STUDCOM). Each issue imagines an alternate future.
99Fathoms: A Trash OddySEA (2023)
100 years in future, our world exists below sea level, the trash we amassed from centuries of excessive consumption and waste litter the seascape. For this issue, we asked our contributors to write from the perspective of Trasheus, an adventurer studying the artifacts from our time.

Conquered by Clippy: Tales of a Degenerative AI
In early April 2023, we of the 99 crew at the MIT Media Lab hosted an event like no other. Intended to explore new horizons of pleasure and hedonism in an AI-driven world, Conquered by Clippy: Tales of a Degenerative AI urged partygoers to consider a submissive utopia under the care of AI agents. This zine is a collective reflection on the installations and activities that took place on that day. However, given that the purpose of the party was to investigate the tensions of the human-ai relationship, we sought to push the concept further through the creation of this zine. An idea was born: instead of a simple record of events, we’d present two parallel narratives, one written by ChatGPT, the other by the human creators of the installations.
